A Deep Medicine to Navigate through the Wildness of Life.
The life we are living, the world we are all in, is touching us in each moment.
It is manifested in our experiences, our thoughts, our feelings, our emotions. Especially in these days, life often seems to be VERY WILD and has the potential to let us feel completely out of control. That there is a danger and we feel the need to protect ourselves. The wildness of life is challenging us!
The practice and the teachings of mindfulness can be a deep medicine for us, in order to navigate through the wildness of this life. Through the wildness of suffering, through the longing of wanting to feel safe and protected, through the longing of wellbeing for ourselves, our loved ones and the wider world around us.
As Thich Nhat Hanh says: “We take care of the future by taking care of the present.”
It might sounds strange, but each single one of us has a responsibility, how we act moment by moment. Do we act out of delusion or do we act more from a foundation of clarity?
You may have noticed, we can only approach this present moment. We can only interact skilfully with this moment. The future, the next moment, the next hour, this evening, tomorrow, next week is just right now ‘only’ a creation of the mind. The mind is compulsively reaching into the future over and over again. This is human and to a certain degree, also necessary. However, the only real information which exists, which is available to us, is in this moment!
