Next Mindfulness Teacher Training Pathway
STARTS SEPTEMBER 2023:
Friday 22.09. – Tuesday 26.09.

With our experience over the years, it has become clear that there are many different intentions why trainees undergo Mindfulness Teacher Training. The IC.CML loves to support people on their pathway towards sharing the fruits of mindfulness practice with their target group.

Our training pathway is for people who are seeking a solid foundation for sharing mindfulness with integrity – whether this means facilitating the Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programme or mindfulness in another format.

We ensure that training with us meets the professional quality standards and recognition requirements in the UK (we are an Affiliated Organisation of the British Association of Mindfulness-Based Approaches (BAMBA) – formerly the UK Network for Mindfulness-based Teacher Training Organisations), but we also welcome trainees from across the world. Please check accreditation requirements in your country.

The field of Mindfulness and Mindfulness-based Interventions (MBIs) is developing at a fast pace.
However, the drive to train more Mindfulness professionals, runs the risk of easily and inadvertently undermining the integrity, precision and long-term commitment required for the formation, and ongoing development of competent, high-quality facilitators.

Our training programme aims to meet these demands – to uphold the quality and commitment, needed to embody the role of someone offering mindfulness to others.

Within the EmbodimentProcess Training, we cover all of the ’key features’ in each domain listed in the Mindfulness-based Interventions Teaching Assessment Criteria (MBI:TAC):

  • Coverage, pacing and organisation of session curriculum
  • Relational skills
  • Embodiment of mindfulness
  • Guiding mindfulness practices
  • Conveying themes through interactive teaching
  • Holding the group learning environment
We want to train people
who understand the responsibility that comes with offering mindfulness,
and who have the desire and willingness
to share mindfulness with this integrity.
