STARTS SEPTEMBER 2023:

MBSR Embodiment Process

The Centre for Mindful Living has, as part of its Mindfulness Teacher Training, a main focus on the MBSR Embodiment Process.

Many people have been introduced to mindfulness by participating in an 8-week format, of the Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Programmes.

Some of these people develop an inner drive to share this inspirational experience, by facilitating Mindfulness-based Interventions (MBI) in a professional setting.

The MBSR programme is the primary source of secular mindfulness, developed by Jon-Kabat Zinn in 1979 at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Since then, there have been many adaptations (e.g. MBCT by Mark Williams et al.).

Regardless of whether you want to offer MBSR or another format of mindfulness,
it is beneficial to start your training close to the source!

The structure of the MBSR Embodiment Process enables the development of getting fit to deliver the 8-week format in its original form. This process will be supported by OnlineLIVE Supervision (CPD), which helps trainees stay true to the vision and integrity of the MBSR curriculum and is therefore an important part of the training pathway.
