The Centre for Mindful Living has, as part of its Mindfulness Teacher Training, a main focus on the MBSR Embodiment Process.
Many people have been introduced to mindfulness by participating in an 8-week format, of the Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Programmes.
Some of these people develop an inner drive to share this inspirational experience, by facilitating Mindfulness-based Interventions (MBI) in a professional setting.
The MBSR programme is the primary source of secular mindfulness, developed by Jon-Kabat Zinn in 1979 at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Since then, there have been many adaptations (e.g. MBCT by Mark Williams et al.).
The structure of the MBSR Embodiment Process enables the development of getting fit to deliver the 8-week format in its original form. This process will be supported by OnlineLIVE Supervision (CPD), which helps trainees stay true to the vision and integrity of the MBSR curriculum and is therefore an important part of the training pathway.
An initial introduction for us and you!
We encourage you to proceed through the training pathway thoroughly and with honest commitment, allowing time to integrate your learning into your life, your teaching and coaching in accordance with the Mindfulness-based Interventions Teaching Assessment Criteria (MBI:TAC).
If you would like to have an appointment with our Teacher Trainer Susann Herrmann, Dipl. Psych. (MA), please feel free to contact Susann and choose from the following options:

If we want to support our clients in their process of growth, we need to be present ourselves, whilst simultaneously ’tapping into’ and becoming aware of their personal journey.
