Where Ancient Wisdom meets Modern Psychology
Monday 07 June 2021, 7.30 – 9pm BST
Mindfulness has its roots in the Pali word ‘Sati’
and means ‘to remember’.
Whether you are a newcomer to mindfulness, have some experience or an established practice, together we have the possibility to meet this difficult & human life and connect with each other during this unusual time in the world.
The intention in our evenings is to explore, how to weave mindfulness into the midst of our everyday life. It is wonderful to talk about ‘mindfulness’ and ‘being present in our life’, to talk just about ‘being here’, but anyone who has tried mindfulness knows, it’s quite a challenge.
In the midst of all the pressures of day-to-day life, all the things that pull us and push us, our meetings are a time together to remember the intention that all of us have: To be present in our life!
Our Evenings will include:
- Welcome & Introduction
- Guided Sitting Meditation Practice
- Walking Practice
- Short Inspirational Talk about the teachings related to our mindfulness practice
- Sharing in breakout rooms
- Group dialogue
- Next Date:
